Raclette is a world famous Alpine cheese from both sides of the French and Swiss Alps. Ours hails from the French side and is made from the unpasteurised milk of cows that graze on the verdant, floral alpine meadows.
This farmhouse Raclette is a semi firm, rind washed cheese, perfect for melting. The name itself comes from the French word ‘racler’ which means ‘to scrape’. The cheese has a smooth and creamy texture with a milky and slightly nutty flavour.
This cheese is aged for 6 months and is made with raw cows’ milk and traditional rennet.
