Dorstone (prev. Cambridge Bleat)

Dorstone (previously known as Cambridge Bleat due to its maturation in our Cambridge cellars) is a wonderful English goat’s cheese named after the beautiful village of Dorstone, overlooking the River Wye in Herefordshire. We have been ageing Dorstone cheeses in our Cambridge cellars for over two decades and the cheese is a long time favourite in our shop and among our team.

Dorstone is a strong, full flavoured, dry and crumbly, ash rolled cheese with a lactic, citrus tang and salty, goaty flavour.

Dorstone is aged for 4 to 5 weeks and is made with raw goats’ milk and traditional rennet.
