Caseificio dell'Alta Langa have been making cheese since 1881 in a dairy immersed in nature, in Bosia, a small village in the Alta Langa, Italy. The cheeses created are all small production and handmade, with the dairy ensuring never to over milk their well cared for animals.
La Tur is a soft, enriched, Italian, mixed milk cheese which has a wonderfully fluffy, mousse like texture, with beautiful richness and a delicate bloom rind. It is made with a mix of cows’, ewes’ and goats’ milk and has a piquant goaty flavour towards the rind and more mild, citrus centre.
This cheese is made with pasteurised cows’, ewes’ and goats’ milk and traditional rennet.
