A l’Olivier Fig Vinegar
A l’Olivier has founded in 1822 in the Marais quarter of paris by Monsieur Popelin, a pharmacist. He believed that olive oil had many health virtues and strongly believed that the Mediterranean way of life was a healthy one. The shop was purchased by oil merchant Jean Claude Blanvillain in 1978 and in 1985, opened workshops in Provence, a stone’s throw from the olive groves themselves. The family olive oil business still operates there today, with additional sites in Poitiers to make nut oils and in Paris for distribution operations.
This fig infused vinegar perfectly combines the sweetness of fig with the acidity of vinegar. It can be used to dress salads and also pairs wonderfully with chicken, foie gras and duck.
Distilled Vinegar (43%), Fig Pulp (40%), Sugar, Apple Pectin.
