Perroche is a pasteurised goats’ milk cheese made by Neals Yard Creamery in Herefordshire. It is made with a vegetarian rennet derived from thistles.
Perroche is a very young, mild, fresh cheese with a clean citrussy tartness that is soft enough to spread. It has a moist texture and aromatic, herbal aroma. Available in plain or with a light coating of fresh herbs such as dill, tarragon or rosemary.
Perroche is aged for 1 week and is made with pasteurised goats’ milk and vegetarian rennet.
