Reblochon is an Alpine, rind washed soft cheese from the Savoie region in France from full cream raw milk. Montbeliarde cows (whose milk is also used to produce famous cheeses such as Comté and Vacherin Mont d’Or) are the traditionally selected breed for production of this cheese as they provide a rich and high quality milk.
Reblochon is a soft and buttery textured cheese with a fruity flavour, nutty aftertaste and strong cheesy smell! It is an essential ingredient in Tartiflette and melts beautifully.
This cheese is aged for 6 to 8 weeks and is made with raw cows’ milk and traditional rennet.
