Fromagerie Le Pic was founded in 1980 in the Midi-Pyrénées region of France. The herd of goats graze freely and eat a diverse diet of natural flora, which ensures an exceptionally high quality goats’ milk. Each cheese is hand ladled into moulds and then matured. The wheel shape is lightly ashed with fine charcoal after shaping.
The multi award winning Rouelle was created in 1986. When young, the Rouelle is semi-soft with a mousse like texture, however it quickly ripens and becomes ultra rich and creamy with a more intense, farmyard flavour.
This cheese is aged for 1 month and is made with raw goats’ milk and traditional rennet.
