Lancashire Bomb, Large

The Shorrock family have been making Lancashire cheese since 1923 and won Supreme Champion at the last Preston Open Cheese Competition before the war broke out in 1938. Since then, their Lancashire cheese has won many more awards. Andrew, now the family’s third generation cheesemaker, created the iconic Lancashire bomb over 25 years ago, for a friend moving to America. The Lancashire bombs are matured for two years for exceptional flavour and a creamy texture.

This Lancashire bomb has an excellent depth of flavour and a buttery, ultra creamy texture.

This cheese is aged for over two years and is made with pasteurised cow’s milk and vegetarian rennet.
